Queer As Folk is a TV show (produced by CH4) that aired in the
UK in 1999/2000. I have never seen the show because I live in
the US, and don't have much more info than what's posted here...
Not only was the show very open on what was filmed, it was also
actually broadcasted (on the air!!)
The show was done in two series's (the series first was 8 parts,
the second was 2 parts). It was about the lives of 3 gay men in
London (shown below).

This page is not about the show, but instead, the soundtrack
that goes along with it...there are lots of pages dedicated
to the show out there...
There are two 2-disc sets, most of the songs are
remixes/remakes. I usually don't care for songs that have
been re-done, but in this case the remakes are better than
the original!! For the most part the songs are dance/club
type music... if you like this style (or 80's dance music)
there's a good chance you'll recognize many of the songs
from the UK QAF...
The main problem is that in the US, you probably won't find the
UK CDs at the regular stores. so i reccommend checking your local
Used CD stores, or a webservice like eBay
There's a number of QAF CD's out there...so make sure to look
closly before you buy
